First Responder Peptide Program

Mino Peptides

A physician-supervised GLP-1 metabolic program built specifically for first responders — at no cost to the department.

Powered by Mino, LLC & RegenRx Health LLC

The First Responder Peptide Program is a voluntary member benefit for first responders and eligible dependents — a physician-supervised GLP-1 program designed specifically for the population whose shift work, sleep disruption, and occupational stress drive metabolic disease at rates far exceeding the general population.

Why This Matters

45%
of firefighter duty fatalities are cardiovascular
79.5%
of career firefighters are overweight or obese
63%
of firefighters under 45 who died of sudden cardiac death were obese
37.9%
suffer abdominal obesity — a direct metabolic risk factor

How It Works

01 — Member Enrolls

  • Voluntary. Open to members and eligible dependents.

02 — Physician Visit

  • A RegenRx physician evaluates the member in-office or via telehealth.

03 — Billed as Medical

  • Processed under the existing out-of-network medical benefit at 75% UCR.

What’s Included

  • Physician evaluation, prescribing, and ongoing monitoring.
  • Compounded GLP-1s via FDA Section 503A — pens, not vials.
  • Cardiometabolic lab panel at baseline and throughout therapy.
  • In-office or telehealth — flexible around shift schedules.
  • Billed inside the medical encounter — not the pharmacy benefit.

What It Costs the Department

Nothing. The program is extended solely at the initiative of Mino, LLC and RegenRx Health LLC. No new benefit. No plan amendment. No negotiated rate. No special arrangement. The union’s only role is informing members the program is available.

Why Mino — Safety by Design

  • 95% of GLP-1 adverse events trace to dosing error — not the molecule. Mino’s GLPs are supplied in fixed-dose pens, designing the failure mode out.
  • 503A patient-specific compounding — prepared against an individual prescription, not bulk stock. No office inventory.
  • Domestic Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) — no exposure to the foreign bulk-peptide import alerts disrupting other compounders.
  • Physician-owned clinical practice — Mino MD is a physician-owned PC. No direct-to-consumer sales, no “research use only” workarounds.
  • Pens, not vials — the dose is fixed before it reaches the member. No syringe drawing, no unit confusion.
  • Vertically integrated — Mino compounds domestically, Mino MD prescribes, and RegenRx delivers care. One chain of custody, no brokered middle.

What We’re Asking For

A collaboration with Labor to share this program with members and to allow out-of-network medical coverage under the current plan’s standard terms. Not a new benefit. Not a plan amendment. Not a negotiated rate. A confirmation of coverage members already have.
